“Dies Ferialis: Awakening The Lemures…plays like an alternate soundtrack to black and white horror classics like Vampyre and Nosferatu…”
- Sean Plummer, Rue Morgue
“…it is up to the suspended "The Quiet Quest Into The Underworld", "The Infinite Abyss" and the final "Peroration", all more inclined to piano neoclassicism….not without ample injections of pathos.“
- Roberto Filippozzi, Darkroom Magazine
“The music lends itself extremely well to the films. It's as if Cucurbitophobia made a soundtrack for a movie with Dies Ferialis: Awakening The Lemures…
…The great thing about this cinematic music with the piano in the lead is that the atmosphere can be perfectly felt by the listener.”
- White Room Reviews
Dies Ferialis: Awakening the Lemures is a thematic album, painting a fictional picture of ancient Roman deities of the Underworld. They emerge and make their way through the Gate of Dis to Earth in present day to claim as many souls from the living as they can. A brave group of modern day people travel to the Underworld to bring an ancient artifact to the deities; they then travel back to their realm before they wreak further havoc on the present day world.
